Civil Police of Pará strengthens security during the Parárraiá programming
Operating over the four days of the event, the civil police will serve at the Fan Protection and Major Events Police Station and at the mobile base of the CICC
Starting this Thursday (12), teams from the Civil Police of Pará (PCPA) will reinforce the public security scheme during Pararraiá, considered the largest São João in the Amazon. The action is part of the operation coordinated by the Secretary of Public Security and Social Defense (Segup) and will continue until the end of the programming on Sunday (15).
The Civil Police will provide services at the Fan Protection and Major Events Police Station (DPTGE), which operates inside the Mangueirão stadium, and also at the mobile base of the Integrated Command and Control Center (CICC).
"Our teams will act preventively and, if necessary, in an ostentatious manner to ensure the safety of those participating in the event. The civil police will be able to register occurrence reports, cases of missing children and adolescents, and provide specialized assistance to women victims of violence, through the teams of the Directorate of Assistance to Vulnerable Groups (DAV), ensuring agility in resolving any occurrences,” highlighted the general delegate of the PCPA, Benassuly.
Technology and intelligence - To assist in the work, security will include real-time monitoring through cameras using artificial intelligence. The focus is to curb crimes such as the theft of cell phones and personal belongings.
“At events with a large concentration of people, criminals often take the opportunity to commit thefts. One of our main objectives is to prevent this type of crime. Video monitoring allows us to track and curb the actions of criminal groups that may compromise safety,” explained delegate Marcos André Araújo, head of the DPTGE.
Public service - Throughout Pararraiá, the teams of the Civil Police will be on duty to promptly address any occurrences. In case of theft or other crimes, victims can seek the service points on-site to formalize the report and receive guidance.
