On the night of this Thursday, the 12th, Valentine's Day, the Amazônia Jazz Band led the romantic soundtrack for the audience at Theatro da Paz with a repertoire of national and international classics.
Under the direction of conductor Eduardo Lima, the Big Band of Theatro played “Carinhoso,” “My Heart Will Go On” (theme from the movie Titanic), “Luz do Mundo,” “Against All Odds,” among others. In addition to the participation of singer Elói Iglesias, who sang the classic “Pecados de Adão.”
The couple Marcos and Joana Malcher chose the concert to celebrate the date and did not regret it. “When we decided to come here, we already knew it would be an amazing show by the Amazônia Jazz Band, but today is beyond that. Many have already been part of our relationship,” Joana says.
This initiative is from the Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Culture (Secult), Theatro da Paz, and the Paraense Academy of Music (APM), and had the master sponsorship of the Vale Cultural Institute, via the Federal Law of Incentive to Culture.
