Regional Hospital of Caetés performs over 161 thousand laboratory tests in five months
Reference unit in northeastern Pará reinforces commitment to agile and accurate diagnostics for over 20 thousand patients
As a reference in medium and high complexity in northeastern Pará, the Public Regional Hospital of Caetés (HRPC), in Capanema, reached the mark of 161,417 laboratory tests performed between January and May of this year. The significant volume of procedures directly benefited 20,986 patients from 16 municipalities in the region, consolidating the essential role of the unit in promoting public health and supporting rapid and accurate diagnostics.
According to Vanessa Blante, coordinator and technical responsible for the HRPC laboratory, the numbers reflect the team's commitment to ensuring a quality service, fundamental for adequate medical care. “We have continuously invested in improvements in internal processes, technology, and training of professionals. These numbers show how essential the laboratory is for diagnostic support and for the agility in the treatment of patients attended here at the hospital,” she highlighted.
The trust of the population is also perceived in the reports of those who use the service. Housewife Alana Regina de Sousa Silva, 29 years old, resident of São Miguel do Guamá, was one of the benefited patients. “It is very gratifying to know these numbers. I was very well attended, from the reception to the collection. Everything was done with care. In a few days, I already had the result and was able to continue my treatment,” she reported.
