Parárraiá heats up the weekend with shows by Safadão and Nattanzinho at Mangueirão
Free event runs until Sunday (15) with programming for all ages, enhanced security for two more nights of joy and fun in Belém

The third day of Parárraiá, this Saturday (14), promises to transform the parking lot of the Mangueirão Stadium into a grand celebration of popular culture and national music. The expectation is for another night of large crowds, with performances by Wesley Safadão, Léo Foguete, Jonas Esticado, and the Pará band Lendário Rubi. The free programming, promoted by the State Government, runs until this Sunday (15), with artists Nattanzinho, Pablo, Mari Fernandez, and Joelma closing the schedule.

University student Thiago Santos Ferreira, from the Marco neighborhood, who attended the 2024 edition, chose this Saturday to go to this year's edition. “Last year, I went with my friends and it was an incredible experience. Today, (this Saturday) with this programming, I can't miss it. I'm even bringing my family this time,” he highlights.

On the first two nights, Thursday (12) and Friday (13), the audience already set the tone for how Parárraiá has firmly entered the cultural calendar of Belém. At the opening on Thursday, Valentine's Day, the event gathered thousands of people to the sounds of Gusttavo Lima, Felipe and Rodrigo, DJ Lucas Azevedo, and the band Xeiro Verde. On Friday, the audience again showed up in large numbers to check out the shows by Manu Bahtidão, Eric Land, Luan Pereira, and Companhia do Calypso.

The excitement for this Saturday is high among those who have already experienced the first nights of the event and also among those who waited for the weekend to enjoy. Housewife Maria do Carmo Oliveira, a resident of the Terra Firme neighborhood, attended the first day and made sure to organize everything at home to return today with her friends. “It was wonderful on Thursday and today I want to enjoy even more with Wesley Safadão. I'm ready to dance again,” she says.

Parárraiá has an integrated public security scheme with about 6,000 public agents from the Military Police, Civil Police, Fire Department, Traffic Department (Detran), Scientific Police, and private security agents. The public finds 30 control and monitoring points, with personal searches, drone support, security cameras, and a visible presence of uniformed personnel in the internal and external areas of the stadium. In addition, there are medical assistance posts with support from state hospitals and teams from the Fire Department.

Businessman Rafael Souza Lima, who works with app transportation, praises the security scheme. “It's good to see the presence of so many police officers and security teams. We feel more at ease to bring the family, enjoy, and go home without worry,” he says, who also plans to watch the shows this Saturday.

Parárraiá continues until tomorrow with a schedule that mixes forró, sertanejo, brega, and the classics of Pará music, consolidating itself as one of the largest June events in the North region. Admission is free, and the recommendation is to arrive early to secure a good spot and make the most of the party.
