Quadrilhas from five municipalities perform in search of the champion title this Tuesday, 17
The presentations of the XXI State Quadrilhas Contest continue until June 27, at the headquarters of the Cultural Foundation of Pará, in Belém. Admission is free.
Junina quadrilhas from Abaetetuba, Barcarena, Belém, Cametá, and Moju will perform this Tuesday, 17, at the XXI State Quadrilhas Contest, at the headquarters of the Cultural Foundation of Pará, in Belém. A total of eight groups will perform on the fifth night of competition. The presentations start at 7 PM. Admission is free.
Representing the city of Abaetetuba will be the groups: “Flor da Terra”; “Coração Junino de Abaetetuba” and “Revelação Junina de Abaetetuba”. Barcarena will be represented by the quadrilha “Roceiros do Divino”. The capital of Pará will enter the Arena with the groups “Balão de Ouro” and “Roceiros da Barão”. Cametá and Moju will be represented by the quadrilhas “Cheiro de Patchouli” and “Encanto Mojuense”, respectively.
Folguedos – In addition to the State Quadrilhas Contest, the program of the Arraial de Todos os Santos, at the headquarters of the Cultural Foundation of Pará, includes the performance of groups of junina folguedos, on the Verequete stage, set up in the Praça do Artista, and of animal and bird cordões, on the stage of the Margarida Schivasappa theater. This Tuesday, the groups “Flor da Juventude”, “Oiarandê-Ara” and “Vaiangá” will perform on the Verequete stage, starting at 7 PM.
