The Cidadania Station Tucuruí, located in the southeast of Pará, celebrates three years of service to the population of the Tucuruí Lake Integration Region this Wednesday (25). The unit was delivered by the state government in June 2022 and has already surpassed the mark of 66 thousand services, offering, in a single space, services from municipal, state, and even private sector agencies.

With a modern and easily accessible structure, the Cidadania Station Tucuruí was designed to facilitate the population's access to essential services. The model allows for more agility in resolving demands and represents a concrete solution to the challenges previously faced by the population, such as the need for long travels to other cities in search of service.

“On this third anniversary, the more than 66 thousand services provided represent not only the efficiency of the service but also the trust of the population. The unit offers humanized service, with air-conditioned environments, a trained team, and a structure designed to ensure comfort, accessibility, and efficiency for the population. With a focus on continuous improvement, the Station continues to be a fundamental support point for citizens, bringing together in one place services that transform realities. The current administration spares no effort to improve the quality of life for the people of Pará, always working to enhance and improve public service,” said Gabriela Duarte, director of development and management at Seplad.

An initiative of the Government of Pará, coordinated by the State Secretariat for Planning and Administration (Seplad), the Cidadania Station's main mission is to decentralize public service, facilitate the population's access to essential services, and reduce travel obstacles, as residents of the region previously had to travel to other municipalities.

For pharmacist Lucilene Santos, the Cidadania Station Tucuruí made life easier. "I found it an excellent place. When we needed to do a medical examination, we had to travel to another city, which generated expenses, taxes, and inconveniences as well. I had to leave my job, leave everything to travel. So, here, the place is excellent, wonderful,” said the pharmacist.

Currently, the unit has six partners and various options for public utility solutions in the same space. Lucelia Ribeiro, an IT technician, shared that she was able to renew her father's ID. "He was very well attended and received. We liked the service. The team at the Cidadania Station deserves congratulations,” said the resident.

Check out the most sought-after services by the population:

Civil Police, with the issuance of the identity card (ID), a fundamental document for the full exercise of citizenship and access to benefits, education, health, and job opportunities.

Secretariat of Social Assistance, Labor, Employment, and Income (Seaster), responsible for services related to unemployment insurance and referrals to the job market, strengthening public policies for inclusion and employability in the region.
State Secretariat for Planning and Administration (Seplad), through the medical examination sector, which provides services to public servants and citizens who need evaluation for the granting of licenses and benefits.

The Cidadania Station in Tucuruí is located at the Tucuruí Shopping Center, on Lauro Sodré Street, No. 675, in the Bela Vista neighborhood. The unit operates from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 4 pm.
