HRPM promotes "Arraiá da Ped" and brings joy to hospitalized children
The initiative featured typical decorations, traditional foods, and various games
With the aim of bringing joy and comfort to hospitalized children, the Regional Public Hospital of Marajó (HRPM), in Breves, on the Island of Marajó, through the Permanent Education Center (NEP) and the Nutrition and Dietetics Service (SND), promoted the "Arraiá da Ped", a playful action with a June festival theme aimed at the young users of pediatrics.
The initiative took place last Thursday (26), in the HRPM Clinics Hall, and featured typical decorations, traditional foods, and various games.
“Festive actions are always very well received by our patients, as they provide moments of relaxation, involving both patients and companions outside the hospital routine they are used to. This initiative reinforces the hospital's commitment to making the environment more welcoming and humanized, in addition to highlighting the importance of emotional memory, which directly impacts the patient's well-being and recovery,” pointed out the technical manager of the SND, nutritionist Renata Feio.
Approval - Josely Machado de Aquino, 37, is at the Regional Hospital of Marajó (HRPM) accompanying her son and praised the assistance provided by the unit. According to her, the hospital offers excellent care and has welcoming professionals. “The hospital is very humanized, everyone deserves congratulations,” she stated.
The farmer also highlighted the importance of the action carried out, emphasizing the positive impact on hospitalized children. “These initiatives help a lot to distract the children, we feel lighter in the hospital and, for a moment, we forget the pain. The hospital is wonderful, it has always welcomed me. From the entrance to the health professionals, everyone is very attentive,” she concluded.
