The State Secretariat for Public Security and Social Defense (Segup) met last Friday (27) with representatives of the automotive sound association of Pará to align measures and rules that will be applied on Atalaia beach, in Salinópolis, during the Summer Operation 2025, which runs until August 4.

The objective of the meeting was to ensure a harmonious coexistence between vacationers, residents, and sound groups, ensuring leisure with environmental responsibility, collective safety, and respect for current legislation.

According to the Secretary of Public Security, Ualame Machado, a Commitment Term was established with clear conduct rules, setting hours, location for the installation of equipment, and environmental responsibilities. "A specific area for automotive sounds was defined, with operation allowed from 6 PM to 5 AM, with the equipment facing the sea. In addition, glass bottles are prohibited, and groups must distribute trash bags and collect all waste generated," he explained.

Rules defined for the use of automotive sound

Permitted hours: from 6 PM to 5 AM the following day, between June 27 and August 4.

Location: the equipment must be positioned in a designated area to the left of Sofia's shortcut (for those accessing the beach from this point), always facing the sea.
Prohibitions: obstructing access roads, parking lots, pedestrian crossings, or emergency vehicle traffic will not be allowed. The installation of structures in unauthorized locations and the use of glass bottles are also prohibited.

Responsibilities of automotive sound groups

Those responsible for the equipment must:

- Distribute trash bags among attendees;
- Collect and completely remove waste at the end of the activity;
- Maintain the cleanliness of the sand strip and adjacent areas.

According to Commander Col. Neves, non-compliance with the rules will result in immediate penalties. "If there is litter abandonment or any infraction, the commitment will be revoked, the sound will be removed and seized, and those responsible will be subject to administrative, civil, and criminal sanctions," he warned.

Inspection

Throughout the Summer Operation period, integrated teams from security forces will conduct constant patrols on the sand strip to monitor compliance with the rules, especially in areas with a higher concentration of automotive sound.

The initiative aims to ensure that summer is a period of safe fun, with respect for public order and the environment.
