Security System launches Operation Summer 2025 in Salinópolis this Saturday (28)
Command Center is already active at Atalaia beach

Operation Summer 2025, considered the largest annual action of the Public Security System of Pará, is already underway in more than 50 locations across the state. With the involvement of over 9,000 agents, the operation reinforces preventive, ostensive, and educational actions in all regions, ensuring safety and tranquility during the school vacation period and the Amazon summer.
In Salinópolis, one of Pará's main tourist destinations, the actions were officially launched at the end of the morning this Saturday (28), at the Integrated Command and Control Center (CICC), located at Atalaia Beach, near Sofia's shortcut.
Coordinated by the State Secretariat for Public Security and Social Defense (Segup), in partnership with the agencies of the State Public Security System and municipalities, the actions primarily focus on reinforcing policing, combating crime, and providing support to vacationers at beaches, resorts, and tourist areas of the state.

Safety and Prevention - During the launch, the Secretary of Public Security, Ualame Machado, highlighted the commitment of the security forces to ensure a safer summer.
“We launched Operation Summer 2025 today in Salinópolis, with a joint effort from the security forces to ensure tranquility and well-being for vacationers and tourists. We recognize the importance of Salinas as one of the main tourist destinations in the state and are committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment. We will have ostensive and preventive policing actions, as well as educational and awareness activities to guide on safety measures and accident prevention. We believe that this combination is essential for the success of the operation,” he stated.

Integrated Command and Control Center
During the ceremony, the Integrated Command and Control Center (CICC) was activated at Atalaia Beach. The space includes the presence of the Civil Police, which speeds up the registration of occurrences, as well as a video monitoring room with over 30 cameras installed at strategic points in the city.
The cameras - fixed and speed dome type - offer 360-degree coverage, and some have vehicle license plate recognition technology. The center also has a security totem that extends the monitoring reach and assists in emergency responses via the number 190.

Integrated Actions
Among the fronts of the operation are:
Zero Tolerance: inspections in bars, restaurants, and show houses, aimed at guiding owners and curbing illegal practices;
Prohibition of cerol and glass bottles on beaches, resorts, and streams, to prevent accidents and preserve the environment;
Dry Law: intensified inspections on access roads to beaches, using breathalyzers to curb driving under the influence of alcohol;
Preventive actions by the Military Fire Department, with service posts at Atalaia and Farol Velho beaches, in addition to lifeguards distributed at strategic points.
Integration - More than 9,000 public servants participate in Operation Summer 2025, with personnel from Segup, Military, Civil, Scientific and Penal Police, Military Fire Department, Detran, Sespa, and municipal agencies.
