Servers working in the inspection of intermunicipal passenger transportation in Pará underwent training on Wednesday (2) at the Agency for Regulation and Control of Public Transportation Services (Artran), which promises to transform the routine of inspectors. Each transportation controller learned to use the new system, available on a smartphone connected to a portable printer, which completely replaces the paper block and pen when recording irregularities.

The Transportation Regulation analyst, Vinicius Nascimento, emphasizes that this training is essential to guide controllers on the correct filling out of the infraction report, both in the operational part of the system and regarding the legislation.

"With this, we avoid loopholes in defense cases where the operator has indeed committed an irregularity. The goal is to make the process more agile, ensuring that the operator is notified quickly, which allows us to provide a more efficient response, safeguarding the rights of users and the safety of intermunicipal passenger transportation," assures Vinícius.

Throughout the morning, IT technicians demonstrated the step-by-step of each screen, answered questions, and simulated inspection situations. “This is an important advancement for all controllers, and in this training, we are making it clear that the system will continue to evolve, seeking more convenience for everyone involved in transportation. The goal is to achieve synergy in the process and ensure that everything occurs correctly until the completion of the reports,” said João Gouveia, IT manager at Artran.

Those who deal with inspection on the front line felt the difference. “Today we have already started the implementation of automated printing of fines. This step is essential for us to continue the learning process and make our daily work more agile and efficient,” highlights Gilberto Marçal, Transportation controller at Porto Arapari, a neighborhood in Cidade Velha.

Anderson Silva, who works at the Ver-o-Peso terminal, highlights the practical benefits of the new technology for the daily inspection: “This innovation will provide us with more credibility in front of users and operators. This directly contributes to our productivity and the image of the service. We are here learning to correctly issue the reports and conducting tests to avoid errors in our daily work,” summarizes the Transportation controller.

The modernization of the inspection process at Artran is a direct continuation of the delivery of cell phones made by the Agency at the beginning of the year.

Artran's expectation is that, still this semester, all infraction reports will be issued digitally. Less paper, more speed, and greater security for those who inspect and for those who travel.
