State Action, “Assistance Throughout Pará” Promotes Job Fair in Bragança

The Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Social Assistance, Labor, Employment and Income (Seaster) and the National Employment System (Sine), is holding the "Job Fair" this Thursday (03) in Bragança, an initiative aimed at generating employment and income in the region. The action includes interviews for job vacancies, registrations at Sine, guidance on unemployment insurance, and other services to support insertion into the labor market.
During the event, job openings for immediate hiring will be offered in sectors including commerce and services, with job interviews at the event location. There will also be assistance for those seeking their first job, supported by the “First Job” program, with registrations and guidance provided by the Seaster team.
“We are increasingly investing in strategies that prioritize our population's entry into the labor market, providing more dignity and well-being through new opportunities, such as the Job Fair in various locations in the State. This initiative promotes the generation of employment and income, with qualification and guidance for professional growth for all,” highlighted the head of Seaster, Inocêncio Gasparim.

For registration at Sine and job interviews:

For requesting unemployment insurance:

- Termination of employment contract;
- Proof of withdrawal or connectivity key for FGTS;

Recommendations - Participants should attend the event dressed appropriately, as they may be directed straight to interviews if they fit the profile for available vacancies. Seaster emphasizes that it continues to seek new partnerships with companies that collaborate in generating job opportunities. In Castanhal, the action already has the support of the Commercial and Industrial Association of Castanhal (Acic), as well as companies from the textile and dairy sectors.
Highlight in job generation - The formal labor market in Pará showed a positive balance again in May 2025, according to data from the General Register of Employed and Unemployed (Caged), released by Dieese-PA and Seaster. In May, Pará recorded 44,981 admissions and 39,923 dismissals, generating a balance of 5,058 jobs with signed contracts.
This result positions Pará as a leader in job generation in the North Region and 10th in the national ranking, ahead of states like Santa Catarina, Mato Grosso, and the Federal District. The balance for May is 45% higher than that recorded in the same period of 2024.
