Sefa seizes motorcycle parts, LED lights, and 38 tons of rice
Seizures occurred in municipalities of the Araguaia Region, southeastern state

Inspection carried out by the team of state revenue inspectors from the coordination of goods in transit control of Araguaia, from the Secretary of Finance of Pará (Sefa), in Conceição do Araguaia, southeastern Pará, seized various goods, including 10,000 kg of motorcycle parts without an invoice. The seizure occurred on Thursday (3), and the value of the goods is R$ 354,254.93.
The seizure was made at the Araguaia tax post, at Km 15 of the PA-447 highway, reported the unit coordinator, Renato Couto. “The driver of the truck presented goods with non-invoice transfer notes between the parent company, originating from São Paulo (SP), and destined for Ananindeua (PA). Approximately 10 tons of motorcycle parts, office supplies, and tools were found, with a transfer request between the parent company and the branch, but without the fiscal document.”
A Seizure and Deposit Term (TAD) was drawn up for a total value of R$ 121,155.19, referring to the state tax and fine.

Barreira do Campo – At the Barreira do Campo tax post, at km 38 of the PA-441 highway, in Santana do Araguaia, 38,000 kg of type 2 rice with husk, originating from Moju (PA) and destined for Aparecida de Goiânia (GO), were also seized on Thursday (3). The total value of the seized goods is R$ 38,540.00.
The driver presented invoices for the goods, but upon analyzing the documents, it was found that the advance ICMS tax on the goods had not been collected, nor the ICMS on the interstate freight service. Two TADs were drawn up with a total value of R$ 8,706.71.
LED Lights – At the Conceição do Araguaia tax post, on Thursday (3), 1,008 units of 80w LED lights were seized, valued at R$ 143,529.12. The cargo left São Paulo destined for Marabá.
“The driver of a truck presented a fiscal document for LED lights, and the inspection, upon consulting the system, identified that the recipient was a service provider (non-taxpayer) and that the ICMS Differential Rate (Difal) due to Pará had not been collected. A TAD was drawn up for the amount of R$ 29,769.00.
