Safe Summer: Civil Police begins patrolling and licensing in Salinópolis
During the DPA action, more than 30 establishments were summoned to appear at the police unit to provide clarifications
The Civil Police began, this Friday (04), the integrated actions of Operation Summer 2025, aiming to ensure safety, public order, and environmental protection in the main tourist destinations of the State. The operation is coordinated by the State Secretariat for Public Security and Social Defense (Segup), in partnership with agencies of the State Public Security System and municipal governments.
In Salinópolis, in northeastern Pará, the teams from the Administrative Police Directorate (DPA) started the afternoon by conducting inspections on the beach strip for the licensing of commercial establishments that were operating irregularly.
“The action aimed to ensure that businesses are properly authorized and operate within the law throughout the summer period,” explains Fabrycio Andrade, responsible for the DPA actions in Salinópolis.
During the DPA action, more than 30 establishments were summoned to appear at the police unit to provide clarifications. A new action is scheduled to take place at 10 PM this Friday, aiming to identify and notify other commercial points in irregular situations.
Also in the evening, the Civil Police is part of the integrated patrol, gathering teams from the DPA, the Specialized Division for Environment and Animal Protection (Demapa), the Coordination of Operations and Special Resources (Core), and other security agencies. The operation covers strategic points in the city focusing on the inspection of noise pollution, environmental protection, combating irregularities in establishments, use of prohibited sound equipment, and preservation of public order.
“The inspection actions are preventive in nature and are essential to ensure that the summer season occurs in a balanced manner, with respect for the rules, the environment, and social coexistence. We are working to protect both residents and visitors,” explained delegate Dilermando Dantas, responsible for the Itinerant Directorate this weekend.
Judicial Decision
The actions of the Civil Police are also based on the enforcement of a judicial decision that prohibits the presence of automotive sounds and “trailers” in the municipality. To ensure compliance with the measure, a task force coordinated by Segup was mobilized this Friday, gathering state and municipal agencies for inspection and public safety.
The general delegate of the Civil Police, Benassuly, highlighted the commitment of the security forces to the population. “At the beginning of July, we reinforced our presence in the resorts with increased personnel, service at the police stations, and coordinated work with other agencies. Integrated action is essential to provide tranquility to the population and tourists visiting the State,” he stated.
Dry Law
The actions of the Dry Law are also being intensified this first weekend of the operation. In Benevides and Salinópolis, civil police officers are working together with the Military Police and the Detran to curb driving under the influence of alcohol. Drivers are subjected to the breathalyzer test, ensuring more safety on the roads leading to the resorts.
Operation Summer 2025 will continue throughout the month of July, focusing on the safety of the population, the organization of public spaces, and environmental preservation.
