To meet the demands of residents and tourists, ensuring new suitable points for leisure and cultural activities, and also generating jobs and income, the Government of Pará will deliver, on Sunday morning (6), the new Waterfront of Marapanim, in the Guamá Integration Region. It is the third waterfront delivered by the State in the municipality since 2019, and will benefit more than 28,000 residents.

"The investments of the Government of Pará in waterfront works transform the landscape and boost the economic potential of the municipalities in Pará. These interventions also value the history of our cities and provide not only more leisure for residents and visitors but also a significant improvement in the quality of life of the population, creating an environment conducive to job and income growth," emphasizes the State Secretary of Public Works, Ruy Cabral.

With services executed by the State Secretary of Public Works (Seop), the Waterfront of Marapanim features a pier, snack bar, restrooms, kiosks, deck, new concrete ramp, and lighting system with LED lamps, in addition to a concrete protective wall. The investment from the state treasury totals R$ 4,373,176.11.
