Sefa seizes five tons of motorcycle parts in Conceição do Araguaia

Inspection carried out by the team of state revenue inspectors from the Coordination of Goods in Transit Control of the Araguaia, from the Secretary of Finance of Pará (Sefa), southeast of the State, seized, on 07/11, several goods, including 5 tons of motorcycle parts, office supplies, and tools, which were being transported without an invoice from São Paulo-SP and destined for Ananindeua-PA. The value of the goods is R$ 154,467.41. The seizure occurred at the Araguaia tax post on highway PA-447, km 15, in Conceição do Araguaia.
“The driver of a box truck presented non-invoice transfer notes between the parent company of the motorcycle rental business in São Paulo. A physical inspection was carried out and approximately 5,000 kg of motorcycle parts were found, in addition to office supplies and tools, with a transfer request between the parent company and the branch. Since there was no fiscal document covering the operation, a Seizure and Deposit Term (TAD) was issued for the total amount of R$52,827.86, for goods not accompanied by a fiscal document. The amount was collected and the goods were released,” reported the unit coordinator, Renato Couto.
This was the second seizure of motorcycle parts at that tax unit this month.
