With activities until Sunday (20), the event offers fun for children, teenagers, and adults during the summer period

More than 1,500 athletes participated in the "Integrated Summer Games" Project, promoted by the Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Sports and Leisure (Seel), in the municipality of Cametá, in the northeastern region. The event includes competitions in basketball, handball, volleyball, and futsal, as well as recreational activities for audiences of all ages. The goal is to provide an environment where children, teenagers, and adults can enjoy their free time in a fun and constructive way, with actions that benefit physical and mental health.
Launched on July 3, the free program will conclude this Sunday (20), in partnership with the City Hall of Cametá, through the Municipal Secretariat of Culture, Tourism, and Sports.

Inclusive Environment - "The Summer Project is an initiative of the Government of Pará that seeks to promote well-being and quality of life for the population through sports and leisure. We offer free activities. The initiative encourages sports practice among family and friends, creating a healthy and inclusive environment for everyone. Seel plays a fundamental role in carrying out this project, providing moments of fun and social interaction, with monitors present to assist all involved," said Seel's head, Cássio Andrade.
The secretary also emphasized that the Project "is an excellent opportunity for people to come together, exercise, and at the same time enjoy social and cultural interaction through sports."

The adult futsal athlete Luís Costa, from the municipality of Belém, thanked the "Government of Pará for this brilliant competition. It's something that gives you chills what happens in this competition. The vibrant crowd in the stands. I love it here, I love playing football. Thank you all for the reception. It's wonderful. I just want to thank everyone."
The program runs from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, and from 4:30 PM to 7 PM, at the São João Batista Sports Gym, Municipal Stadium of Cametá (Bacurau Park), Municipal Secretariat of Education, Federal Institute of Pará (IFPA) - Cametá Campus, and the Leisure Complex of the Matinha Neighborhood.
