At the Coordination of Goods in Transit Control in Gurupi, in the municipality of Cachoeira do Piriá, northeastern Pará, on the border of Pará with Maranhão, inspectors from the State Department of Finance (Sefa) seized, on Friday (18), 1,000 sets of wooden portals.

The driver of the truck transporting the cargo presented invoices for 20 cubic meters of wooden portals, originating from Portel, in the Marajó Archipelago, destined for Camaragibe, Carpina, and Recife, in the State of Pernambuco. "The officials, upon analyzing the invoice in contrast with the Minimum Price Bulletin, saw that the unit of measure adopted, in the tax assessment, is sets, and the taxpayer used cubic meters as the unit, which generates a value much lower than due, which is contrary to the legislation," informed coordinator Gustavo Bozola. The Minimum Price Bulletin was established by Ordinance No. 354/2005, from Sefa.

When the correspondence between cubic meters and sets was made, the value of the goods was readjusted to R$ 47,900.00, and the Term of Seizure and Deposit (TAD) was drawn up, in the amount of R$ 10,346.40. The TAD was paid and the goods were released.

Without invoice - In the urban area of Santarém, in the Lower Amazon Integration Region, state revenue inspectors from the Coordination of Goods in Transit Control of Tapajós, also on Friday (18), seized food products on a vessel destined for the State of Amazonas. The products were being transported without an invoice.

The seizure occurred at the Porto dos Gaúchos. The team of inspectors located 1.5 tons of cheese; 100 boxes of eggs; 80 sacks of corn and boxes of vegetables, totaling R$ 81,033.00.

Terms of Seizure and Deposit (TAD) were drawn up, charging ICMS and fines, in the amount of R$18,007.13.
