National meeting in Brasília, with the presence of Seju, takes place after the completion of five regional stages, including one in Pará
The Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Justice (Seju), participated on Wednesday (23) in the national stage of the public consultation for the construction of the new National Drug Policy Plan (Planad), in Brasília (DF). The event marked the end of the popular participation phase in the preparation of the document, which will organize and guide the implementation of the national drug policy.
Before the national stage, the public consultation for the new Planad took place in five regional editions, held in each of the Brazilian regions. In the North region, the consultation took place in Belém and was organized by the State Council on Drugs (Coned) and Seju, the agency responsible for managing drug policies in Pará.

Representing the North region at the event, the 2nd vice-president of Coned and director of Justice at Seju, Renata Hage, was responsible for the report on the axis with the theme "Access to Care and Rights System", which aims to ensure that drug users and their families have access to essential services such as health, social assistance, housing, education, and justice.

Renata Hage emphasized the importance of active listening from the territories and the consolidation of regional proposals for the new wording of the Planad. "The presence of the North region in this process ensures that its realities and vulnerabilities are not made invisible, promoting a fairer, more inclusive, and effective public policy for all Brazilians," she stressed.
After the national stage of the consultation, the data will be organized into the final proposal of the new Plan. Subsequently, the document will be forwarded to the National Council on Drug Policies (Conad) for approval.
