Mangal das Garças promotes free workshop on natural paint production this Sunday (27)
Activity aimed at children encourages environmental education through art and the use of natural elements

This Sunday (27), the Mangal das Garças Zoobotanical Park in Belém will host another edition of the free natural paint production workshop, starting at 10 am. Aimed especially at children, the activity is part of the environmental education program developed by the space.
During the activity, children will learn in a playful way how to extract pigments from elements such as saffron, annatto, beetroot, and charcoal, demonstrating that it is possible to create ecological and sustainable paints with everyday ingredients. The proposal is to stimulate respect for nature and environmental awareness from childhood.
The workshop will be conducted by Mayara Cohen, who will guide participants through the paint production process and the experimentation of colors on paper.
