Civil Police reinforce security at the Summer Festival 2025 on Caripi beach in Barcarena
During the operation, several establishments were inspected to verify compliance with operating permits
On the evening of this Saturday (26), the Civil Police of Pará, through the Vila dos Cabanos Police Station and the civil police officers who make up the reinforcement team of Operation Summer 2025, inspected bars, restaurants, and other commercial establishments to verify their compliance with the Administrative Police Directorate (DPA) in Vila dos Cabanos, located in Barcarena.
“The permits are important for the Civil Police to determine that the establishments are safe, far from schools, and comply with the legislation. With it, the owners have support regarding any event that occurs outside of normality. We have adapted the issuance of documents with the new system used in public safety. Now the permits contain a QRCode, giving owners more security regarding the legality of the document,” explained Mhoab Khayan, head of the Regional Superintendence of Baixo Tocantins.
During the operation, some owners received their operating permits and some guidance. “We explained about the prohibition of selling alcoholic beverages to minors under 18 years old, we also advised that it is prohibited to sell any drinks in glass bottles on the beach, in addition to emphasizing good practices for the environment. We were also able to deliver the permits to some owners who went to the DPA to submit the document,” emphasized Delegate Aluísio Corrêa, head of the DPA in Vila dos Cabanos.
On this occasion, the police teams reinforced the security of the Summer Festival 2025, which takes place on Caripi beach and is in its penultimate day of programming.
“The presence of police officers during the show nights provides more security to the people who come here to have fun and also gives us, the organizers, peace of mind. We can focus on our activities knowing that everything will proceed in the safest way possible with the presence of public security agents who work in an integrated manner,” said Virgílio Nunes, Secretary of Security of the Municipality of Barcarena.
The police reinforcement actions for Operation Summer 2025 will continue until the first weekend of August.
