The Brazilian team secured the top spot in Group B in the first phase of the competition with an unbeaten record. Led by coach Arthur Elias, the canarinho team secured a place in the semifinal with three wins and one draw.

In their campaign, the Brazilian girls defeated Venezuela 2-0, Bolivia 6-0, and Paraguay 4-1. At the end of the round-robin stage, Brazil drew with Colombia 0-0, after the expulsion of goalkeeper Lorena.

Uruguay finished the group stage in second place in Group A, with seven points. The Celeste Olímpica won two games, drew one match, and lost once. The group leader was Argentina, with a record of four victories.

In the other semifinal match, held on the night of this Monday (28), Colombia defeated Argentina 5-4, continuing in the championship's decision. In total, the Colombian team earned eight points, with two wins and two draws, the last being against Brazil in the last round of Group B.

National Team - The most successful and current champion of the Conmebol Women's Copa América, with the title from 2022, the Brazilian national team is seeking its ninth trophy this year. The canarinho team has won eight titles in the nine editions held since 1991. In the current competition, Brazil is in Group B, along with Bolivia, Colombia, Paraguay, and Venezuela. Group A consists of Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, and Uruguay.

Brazil has already secured a spot for the next Women's World Cup in 2027, as the host country, but is still trying to qualify for the Los Angeles Olympic Games in 2028. To do this, the team needs to lift the trophy or finish as the runner-up in the Conmebol Women's Copa América 2025.
