Modernization: Detran adopts electronic system for registered agents
The state traffic agency provides an electronic platform used by duly registered agents in Pará to access services

Prioritizing transparency and continuing the modernization standard of services offered by the State Department of Traffic (Detran), the agency provides an electronic platform used by duly registered agents throughout Pará to access services.
The system allows agents, who are duly registered and using their own digital certification for this purpose, to prepare activities related to the regularization and documentation of vehicles using an internet connection.
This initiative facilitates the computerization process that Detran has been adopting, optimizing systems and reducing costs. The procedure also impacts the speed for users, as agents will no longer need to schedule services and in-person appointments through service channels.
Detran emphasizes that the entire construction of the system complies with technical transaction standards contained in the Systems Integration Manual, compatible with the Renavam project, for the execution of various services requested by professionals, enabling the digitization of physical documents and electronic submission to the Detran system.
The accuracy of the information is the responsibility of the agent, and the agency bears no responsibility regarding the obligations established between the agent and their client, including any necessary corrections.
"If an error is found in the electronic transmission, the agent must redo the procedure and issue a new document related to the service performed, upon payment of the respective fees provided for in state legislation," explained Ana Carolina Sampaio, head of the Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration Directorate (DHCRV).
The system also offers more transparency and security, in addition to identifying professional agents through digital certificates.
The data entered through the system is digitally signed, through digital certification, integrated with the Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration Directorate (DHCRV) of the agency, which verifies the compatibility and regularity of the transmitted information and concludes the service procedure cycle, updating all data in the electronic system (Sistrânsito) and issuing the requested document.
"It is important to emphasize that currently, the services offered through the platform are: first registration and licensing. But by the end of the year, all vehicle regularization services should be included in the system," highlighted the official.
