For those looking for a leisure option in contact with nature during the extended holiday of Pará's Adherence to Independence, this Friday (15), the Utinga Camillo Vianna State Park in Belém is the right choice. With free access and various ecotourism activities, the conservation unit managed by the Pará Forest Development and Biodiversity Institute (Ideflor-Bio) and the Social Organization (OS) Pará 2000 will operate normally from 6 AM to 5 PM, from Friday to Sunday.

According to the manager of the Administrative Region of Belém at Ideflor-Bio, Júlio Meyer, people will be able to enjoy the location with unchanged operating hours. “During the holiday, the park will operate on a normal schedule to accommodate the public who will visit the space this extended weekend,” he emphasized.

Júlio Meyer also highlighted that more than 6,000 visitors are expected at the conservation unit this weekend. “We anticipate that the number of visitors will be within the expected range for the weekend, which is between 6,000 and 7,000,” the manager noted.

It is worth remembering that in March 2025, the Park recorded over 9,000 visitors in one day. The space features trails for hiking and biking. Paid fun options are also offered, such as rappelling and zip-lining, in addition to the Biodiversity Fair, which takes place on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Service - Located on Avenida João Paulo II, in the Curió-Utinga neighborhood, Utinga State Park operates from Wednesday to Monday, from 6 AM to 5 PM, and remains closed on Tuesdays for maintenance. The space welcomes visitors of all ages and also schedules visits for school and university groups, which can be requested via email [email protected].
