Usina da Paz Marabá completes six months of services and social transformation
The Marabá unit of the largest citizenship complex in Latin America was the 11th Usina by the State Government and has already provided more than 86 thousand services.
The Usina da Paz in the municipality of Marabá has completed six months of operation, establishing itself as a transformative hub in the southeastern region of the State. Delivered on February 22, 2025, the state complex has already become a reference in social inclusion and access to public services provided free of charge to the population, having guaranteed more than 86 thousand services.
With a modern and functional structure, the Usina da Paz Marabá offers more than 70 services in the areas of health, education, social assistance, culture, sports, and leisure, directly benefiting over 266 thousand local residents. The unit was the 11th complex of the largest citizenship and social transformation program in Latin America delivered by the state government.
The multifunctional complex has buildings and rooms equipped to provide medical, dental, and psychological services, education and professional training courses, as well as spaces like a library, computer rooms, dance, gastronomy, theater, sports gym, swimming pool, multicultural square, playground, pet area, among others.
multiple benefits to the population - For community leader Lourival Oliveira, Usina da Paz has been a huge gain for the entire Marabá community. “I congratulate the State Government for bringing a project like this, which brings social well-being to the community. We see needy people, who were not reached before, now receiving various services and assistance close to their homes,” he said.
Housewife Ivanilda Almeida, a resident of the Bela Vista neighborhood, reported that she has already taken more than 5 courses at Usina da Paz and that the knowledge gained has given her a new perspective on life. Currently, she is participating in a sewing and cutting course, where she is learning to make crochet pieces.
“Before, I didn’t even know how to thread a needle. Now, thank God, I have learned a lot that already allows me to do small jobs at home. I learned a lot from the teachers and also from my classmates. Here we receive excellent service and the courses work for me as a therapy,” Ivanilda said.
Open doors for the community - Usina da Paz in Marabá continues to stand firm as a space for social mobilization, welcoming, and qualification, as highlighted by the State Secretary of Citizenship Articulation, Elieth Braga.
“Usina da Paz in Marabá was born to open doors of opportunities for the community and strengthen citizenship. In just six months, we already see thousands of lives transformed through the courses, workshops, and services offered. Our goal is to continue expanding this work, showing that the State is present in the daily lives of people, helping to build dreams and ensuring dignity for all,” the manager stated.
Service - Usina da Paz Marabá is located on Avenida Sororó, Jardim União neighborhood. The complex operates from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 10 pm, and on weekends, from 8 am to 12 pm, or according to special programs and community demands.
