The State Government continues to advance with the implementation of new Peace Plants in Pará. In Itaituba, in the Tapajós Integration Region, the construction project of the new UsiPaz is in the finalization phase, with more than 93% of the services already executed.

The arrival of the largest citizenship complex in Latin America will guarantee the community a state-of-the-art structure, where more than 70 free services will be offered in the areas of health and citizenship, such as medical, dental, and psychological care, document issuance, as well as other activities in education, social assistance, citizenship, security, sports, and leisure.

The Peace Plant Itaituba is being built in an area located on Avenida dos Ipês, Residencial Jardim América. The project is being executed in partnership between the State and the company Vale, through a cooperation agreement.

Among the local population, expectations are high for the delivery of the new public facility, which will guarantee services and opportunities for the more than 130,000 residents of the municipality, like housewife Helena Sobral, who eagerly awaits the arrival of the Peace Plant.

“When I heard about the Peace Plant, I was very happy because it is something that will benefit many people. I thought of my children and grandchildren, who will now have more ease in accessing health and education services. I liked it and I am very happy,” she said.

Student Ludmila Reis hopes that the project can benefit the youth. “The Peace Plant is a wonderful project that will help many young people and also adults with training and courses, in addition to other improvements that the Plant will offer. It is a space that will greatly help the Itaituba population.”

State-of-the-art structure - The new unit of the largest state citizenship complex will feature two main buildings, Plant and Assistance, which have structured rooms for the provision of services such as document issuance, vocational courses, medical, dental, and psychological care, legal guidance, among others; as well as spaces like libraries and study, music, and computer rooms.

The UsiPaz Itaituba will also have areas for sports, cultural, and leisure activities, such as a multipurpose gym, sand court, outdoor gym, theater, playground, and swimming pool.

"We are very happy to see the Peace Plant of Itaituba reaching the final construction phase. This public facility will transform the lives of families, offering opportunities, services, and leisure in a free and accessible way. The population of Itaituba will have a space designed to promote citizenship, dignity, and human development, strengthening community ties," said the State Secretary of Citizenship Articulation, Elieth Braga.
