The Secretary of Economic Development, Mining and Energy (Sedeme), through the Directorate of Industry, Commerce and Services Development (DDCIS/Sedeme), will be present at the 2nd edition of the Tapajós Business Fair (FTN), which will be held at the Sebastião Tapajós Convention Center, from August 28 to 30, from 6 PM to 10 PM, in Santarém, in the western region of Pará.

The event is organized by the Federation of Commercial and Business Associations of Pará (FACIAPA), in partnership with the Commercial and Business Association of Santarém (ACES), and is supported by the Government of Pará.

During the fair, Sedeme will highlight actions and services from the Directorate of Industry, Commerce and Services Development, focusing on actions to encourage entrepreneurship, support for the industry, commerce, and services sectors, consolidation of Local Productive Arrangements (APLs), as well as initiatives aimed at foreign trade and credit for producers.

The director of Industry, Commerce and Services Development (DDCIS/Sedeme), Sherry Brom Rodrigues, emphasizes that Sedeme will present to the public its role in financing strategic enterprises that contribute to the development, diversification, and transformation of Pará's productive base, promoting job and income generation. Among these initiatives, actions to support Local Productive Arrangements (APLs) and the strengthening of productive chains will be highlighted, benefiting the sectors of industry, commerce, and services.

Just like in the first edition, FTN 2025 aims to mobilize entrepreneurs from the 144 municipalities of Pará, with a special focus on the western region of the state. "The goal is to stimulate the exhibition of products and services, as well as to promote trade missions aimed at prospecting new businesses, bringing together innovative entrepreneurs willing to expand strategic connections," added the director.
