HRPL celebrates 11 years of operation with the maintenance of ONA Level II Accreditation alongside users, companions, and collaborators
Paragominas Unit reaffirms commitment to quality and safety in caring for SUS users in northeastern Pará
The Regional Public Hospital of the East (HRPL), in Paragominas, celebrated, on August 25 and 26, 11 years of services provided to the population with a special program dedicated to users, companions, and collaborators. The celebration coincided with the maintenance of ONA Level II Accreditation, granted by the National Accreditation Organization, which attests to the unit's excellence in quality and safety in care.
The event was held in the outdoor area of the hospital and included moments of integration and tributes, including the delivery of participation certificates in the recertification process, completed this month, in addition to the traditional collective birthday celebration.
The general director of HRPL, André Bordallo, highlighted the pride in celebrating another anniversary of the unit, which has been managed by the Instituto Diretrizes since January 2022.
“We have consolidated our mission to offer high-quality health services to users from 23 municipalities in the region. The maintenance of the ONA II certification reflects our commitment to excellence, safety, and the dedicated work of each collaborator,” he emphasized.
The manager also emphasized the projection for the coming years.
“We look to the future with the goal of continuing to improve our services, providing humanized and quality care to all who depend on the Unified Health System (SUS), confident that our team will continue to make a difference in the lives of the community,” he concluded.
User Approval
The recognition of the care provided also came from patients and families. Painter Renan Gomes da Silva, 32, who was accompanying his father hospitalized for surgery, reported his satisfaction. “This is my first time here, and I am really enjoying it. I was anxious when I entered the unit, but seeing the team's dedication in caring for my father was very good! I thank God and you for treating us well; you are wonderful!” he stated.
Structure and Results
In the first half of 2025, HRPL performed 163,145 consultations and procedures, establishing itself as one of the main centers of specialized health in the interior of Pará.
The unit has 70 beds, distributed among Surgical Clinic, Medical Clinic, and Adult ICU. It offers care in various specialties, such as Neurology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Oncology, General Surgery, and Bucomaxillofacial, in addition to anesthetic support. It also conducts outpatient consultations in areas such as Cardiology, Urology, Endocrinology, Mastology, and Gynecology.
The process of maintaining the certification was conducted by the Qualisa Institute of Management (IQG), which confirmed the hospital's compliance with the standards required by ONA in patient safety and integrated management.
