In one day, Blood Network collects 601 blood bags, benefiting more than two thousand patients
The collections took place in fixed units and external programs, with the participation of volunteers who reinforced the commitment to citizenship and solidarity

The blood donation actions carried out by the Hemopa Foundation last Saturday (30) resulted in 601 bags collected in different municipalities of Pará. The volume will be sufficient to benefit up to 2,404 patients undergoing treatment in the public health network. The collections took place in fixed units and external programs, with the participation of volunteers who reinforced the commitment to citizenship and solidarity.
In Belém, the Hemopa headquarters recorded 160 donations. At the Castanheira and Metrópole shopping malls, 37 bags were counted at each collection point. In Castanhal, in northeastern Pará, the mobilization resulted in 193 bags, while in Santarém, in the western part of the state, there were 42 donations.

The Tucuruí unit collected eleven bags, and in Altamira, 34. In the municipality of São Domingos do Capim, in an action linked to Hemopa Castanhal, 87 bags of blood were collected. Overall, the participation of volunteers reinforces the importance of maintaining regular stocks and safely meeting the state's transfusion demand.
