Department of Finance (Sefa) seizes 18 pilates and rehabilitation equipment
Cargo left Rio Negrinho (SC) heading to Belém

Inspectors assigned to the Coordination of Goods in Transit Control of Carajás, from the State Department of Finance (Sefa), in southeastern Pará, seized 18 pilates and rehabilitation equipment, valued at R$ 191,840.01, on Friday (5).
The seizure took place at the Carajás Railway tax post, on the Transamazon highway, in Marabá. According to the inspection, a truck transporting goods from Rio Negrinho-SC, heading to the capital, Belém, was stopped. The cargo consisted of equipment for physical activities.
After document analysis and consultations with Sefa's systems, it was found that there was no proof of ICMS collection regarding the Differential of Rates (Difal), which is due in this operation, as the goods were intended for a final consumer located in Pará.
An Seizure and Deposit Term (TAD) was issued, amounting to R$ 39,789.08, already considering ICMS and fines, which was paid and the goods were released.
