State University of Pará holds Vocational Fair at Centur this Wednesday (10)
With cultural programming and interactive activities, the event is an opportunity for those who wish to learn about undergraduate courses.

The State University of Pará (Uepa) is holding the Vocational Fair – Prosel 2026 this Wednesday, 10, with free entry and programming aimed at the general community. The event takes place from 9 am to 5 pm at Centur, located at Avenida Gentil Bittencourt, No. 650, in the Nazaré neighborhood of Belém. The initiative brings together professional guidance actions, cultural activities, and information about the undergraduate courses offered by the institution.
Throughout the day, visitors can explore the Uepa course booths, as well as special programs and agreements that offer undergraduate courses, such as the Open University of Brazil, the National Teacher Training Program (Parfor), and Forma Pará. A Vocational Test will also be available to assist students and interested individuals in choosing their careers.

The cultural programming includes performances by the Libras Choir, with students from the Libras Letters course, the Búfalos Battery, with medical students, activities promoted by Physical Education students, and concludes with the Uepa Madrigal Choir. The audience will also be able to participate in discussion circles on current topics of interest to future university students, such as “Mental health and life projects in university” and “Access, accessibility, and inclusion in Higher Education.”
The Vocational Fair is part of the promotional actions for Uepa's 2026 Selection Process (Prosel 2026) and aims to bring the university closer to society, encouraging young people and adults to learn more about higher education and the future possibilities that education provides.
Selection Processes
Uepa medical student in Belém, Lorena de Souza Pinto, entered the university through her Enem score. "I chose Uepa because I heard many positive recommendations regarding the medical course. I really enjoy my routine at the university; the teaching method and the adaptation process are challenging, and I feel that it helps me learn new things, and it is gratifying to know that I managed to get into Uepa."
In August, Lorena received the MEC Award for Brazilian Education - 2025 edition, in Brasília (DF), an initiative by the Ministry of Education (MEC) to recognize performances in education. 116 public school students received the award, and the criterion was based on the score from the National High School Exam.
For Lorena, studying medicine at a public university is a privilege that comes with great responsibility. She emphasizes that her goal is to give back the knowledge she will acquire throughout her education to care for people with dedication, respect, and humanity, with special attention to the communities that need it most. "This desire to help and make a difference in people's lives is what motivates me."
Currently, Uepa is accepting applications for three selection processes: the Specific Selection Process for the Licentiate in Libras Letters course and the Specific Selection Process for the Licentiate in Music are open until September 18. For these courses, candidates will take specific tests, defined according to the schedules of the announcements.
The 2026 Selection Process for other Uepa courses uses exclusively the score from the National High School Exam (Enem 2025) and accepts applications until September 25.
The Enem tests will be held on November 9 and 16, and on November 30 and December 7, in Belém, Ananindeua, and Marituba, due to the United Nations Conference on Climate Change 2025, in the capital of Pará.
Lorena leaves a message for students who will take the Enem and Uepa's Prosel, "Believe in your potential, never give up on your dreams, and always invest in your education because, through it, you will be able to reach places you never imagined and you will succeed."
