Owners of vehicles with license plate endings 78 to 98 have discounts of 15%, 10%, and 5% on the IPVA amount

Until September 15, it is possible to pay the Motor Vehicle Property Tax (IPVA/2025) with a discount for drivers who have no traffic fines, informs the State Department of Finance (Sefa). Owners of vehicles with license plate endings 70 to 90, without fines in the last two years, pay 15% less on the IPVA amount; 10% for those who did not receive fines last year and 5% discount in other situations.

There are three payment options for the IPVA: advance payment in a single installment, with a discount; installment payment in up to three times before the due date, without discount, or full payment along with licensing, without discount.

To advance the payment of the IPVA in three installments, one must observe the dates in the annual calendar, available on the Sefa website.

Of the total IPVA collected, 50% goes to the State and 50% is allocated to the municipality where the vehicle is licensed.

Collection

To collect the IPVA, issue the State Collection Document (DAE) on the Services Portal, at https://app.sefa.pa.gov.br/pservicos/.

Payment is made at authorized banking networks with Sefa: Banpará, Banco da Amazônia, Bradesco, Itaú, Banco do Brasil, Santander, and Caixa Econômica Federal (CEF). The DAE can be collected via pix, using the QR Code.

For questions, call the call center at 0800.725.5533. The call is free and operates from 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday; or via chat on the website www.sefa.pa.gov.br.
