Craft Fair of the Legislative Assembly of Pará Employees at São José Liberto, this Friday (12) and Saturday (13)

The São José Liberto Space will host, this Friday (12) and Saturday (13), from 10 am to 6 pm, another edition of the traditional Craft Fair of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Pará (Feart).

Organized by employees and former employees of Alepa, the fair aims to value local craftsmanship and highlight the importance of the creative economy as a source of income, social inclusion, and cultural expression.

The event brings together about 16 exhibitors presenting exclusive handcrafted pieces, such as sacred art with themes related to the Círio de Nossa Senhora de Nazaré, decorative frames, crochet, bags, children's accessories, items for bed, table, and bath, as well as stationery articles.

Visitors to ESJL can check out the talent and creativity of artisans, with a variety of products available for sale directly from the exhibitors — an initiative that strengthens income generation and recognition of these professionals.

According to Lu Moraes, visual artist and coordinator of the fair, the proposal is to surprise the audience with each edition, offering an increasingly diverse and high-quality selection of handcrafted products.

Bags are among the diverse handcrafted products on display at the São José Liberto Space, in Jurunas, Belém

"The exhibition has been part of the ESJL event agenda for 10 years and takes place twice a month. With the support of Sedeme, which provides the space for the exhibition, we aim to offer the public an exhibition with unique pieces, handmade with care and creativity,” highlights the coordinator of Feart.
