Sefa seizes clothing and rice in the southeast of the State

The seizure of 620 uniform-type pants occurred in Conceição do Araguaia. In Santana do Araguaia, 85 tons of rice were seized.

State tax inspectors from the Pará State Department of Finance (Sefa) seized on Sunday (09/14), 620 uniform-type pants, originating from Ibirité (MG) and destined for Belo Horizonte (MG). The seizure took place on the PA-447 highway, km 15, in Conceição do Araguaia, in southeastern Pará. The total value of the goods is R$ 30,337.63. The officials are assigned to the Coordination of Goods in Transit Control of Araguaia,

“The driver of a van presented a fiscal document for the goods, and the inspection team then verified that the material sent would be internalized at a construction site in the State of Pará,” said the coordinator of the tax unit, Renato Couto.

A Seizure and Deposit Term (TAD) was drawn up with a total value of R$ 8,069.71 referring to the tax plus a fine, which was collected and the goods released.

Rice – On Saturday (09/13), at the Barreira do Campo unit, on the PA-441 highway, km 38, in Santana do Araguaia, 85 tons of type 2 rice in husk were seized, originating from Moju (PA) and destined for Aparecida de Goiânia (GO). The value of the goods is R$ 60,569.60.

“When checking the documents, it was found that the advance ICMS tax on the goods had not been collected upon leaving the State. Two TADs were drawn up in the amount of R$ 10,156.69, which were collected and the goods released,” said the state tax inspector.
