Emater signs Technical Cooperation Agreement with the municipality of Rurópolis
Partnership strengthens and expands assistance and access to public policies for farming families in the region

The Government of Pará, through the Technical Assistance and Rural Extension Company of the State of Pará (Emater-Pará), signed a Technical Cooperation Agreement (TCA) with the municipality of Rurópolis to strengthen family farming in the region.
The partnership provides greater support to farmers in the region, whose main productive chains include fruit growing, primarily cocoa production, as well as livestock and cassava.
“This partnership represents a greater presence of technical assistance in the field with more support for rural producers in the city. With the support of the Rurópolis city hall, we will expand access to rural credit, property regularization, productive diagnostics, and technical training,” said the supervisor of the Itaituba Regional Office, Ubiratan Pina.
As a commitment of the Government of Pará to family farming, the signing represents greater access to public policies for rural workers, who supply the tables of Pará with quality products, in addition to generating income and improving the quality of life for small farmers.
“This union of Emater with municipal governments transforms realities, generates income in the field, and strengthens sustainable agriculture, with initiatives that value the environment, family farming, and also a greener, more productive, and fairer future in our State,” he concluded.
