Detran defines traffic scheme for Ivete Sangalo's show at Mangueirão
Operation will have changes in flow, occasional use of BRT lanes, and enforcement with breathalyzers, instruments that measure the concentration of alcoholic beverages

Ivete Sangalo's show, next Saturday (20), in Belém, is expected to gather a crowd at the Olympic Stadium of Pará, Mangueirão. To ensure traffic flow and avoid disruptions upon arrival at the event, the State Department of Transit (Detran) has set up a special operation in partnership with other public safety agencies.
The Municipal Secretariat of Security, Public Order, and Mobility of Belém (Segbel) will be responsible for organizing traffic on Avenida Transmangueirão, which will have a one-way direction from Avenida Centenário to Augusto Montenegro. Detran will take care of flow control on Avenida Augusto Montenegro, possibly allowing the use of BRT lanes, if necessary, to improve circulation.
The interventions will begin at 3 PM, two hours before the gates open for the show, which is part of the program for the event “Great Meeting for a Better World,” promoted by the Rock in Rio and The Town festivals.
“We recommend that those coming by car arrive early to ensure entry and avoid difficulties accessing parking near the start of the show,” advises Detran's operations coordinator, Ivan Feitosa. The agency also emphasizes that tickets for the show are free, but parking at the stadium will be paid.
Areas for taxi and ride-hailing vehicle pick-up and drop-off will have specific restrictions, requiring attention from drivers and users. Driver and vehicle documents must be regularized to avoid fines. “Although the focus is on fluidity, this does not exempt enforcement. Infraction situations will be fined, including the use of breathalyzers,” reinforces Feitosa.
