Registrations for the XII Race, Walk, and V Cycling Tour of the Server Start on the 22nd
Initiative by the State Secretariat of Planning and Administration (Seplad) celebrates Public Servant Day on October 28
The Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Planning and Administration (Seplad), will hold the XII Race, Walk, and V Cycling Tour of the Server on October 18. Registrations will begin next Monday (22) at 10 a.m. The initiative is promoted in celebration of Public Servant Day, celebrated on October 28.
This year, the event brings a novelty: the number of spots has been increased to 2,000, with 1,700 for the race, 200 for the walk, and 100 for the cycling tour. To confirm the registration, it will be necessary to deliver a kit of non-perishable food items, consisting of the following items, predetermined quantities, and weights: 1 kg of beans, 1 kg of rice, 1 kg of sugar, 1 package of pasta (400 g), 1 package of coffee (250 g), and 1 package of milk (200 g). The delivery of food for registration confirmation will take place on September 23 and 24 at the Seplad unit, located at Travessa do Chaco, No. 2,350, in the Marco neighborhood.
“More than a sports event, the XII Race, Walk, and V Cycling Tour aim to show that taking care of health is also valuing the well-being of those who dedicate their lives to caring for the population,” said Íris Negrão, Deputy Secretary of People Management at Seplad.
The secretary added: “This is a meeting of integration, overcoming, and recognition, where each step, pedal, and kilometer traveled reinforces our commitment to the quality of life of the servers. And this year, we have a great achievement: responding to the request of the servers themselves, we have increased the number of spots to 2,000, distributed among the categories of Race, Walk, and Cycling Tour, so that even more servers can participate.”
Servers will be able to pick up the “Athlete Kit” on October 15 and 16 at the Seplad headquarters. The kit includes a shirt, bag, visor, food voucher, timing chip for the chosen modality (race, walk, or cycling tour), and bib number.
“The Server's Race, Walk, and Cycling Tour is an annual event that reaffirms the Government's commitment to its servers. This event is of great importance as it broadens the perspective beyond the corporate environment and encourages everyone to take care of their health. It is essential that servers are motivated to engage in physical activities, as they spend many hours working and need this encouragement to maintain their health,” said Leonardo Coelho, a server at the State Secretariat of Penitentiary Assistance (Seap).

Registrations: Interested parties can register through the Seplad website, where the race regulations will also be available.
The event will take place on October 18 at the Utinga State Park, with concentration at 5 a.m. The cycling tour and the race will have a route of 8 km, starting at 5:30 a.m. and 6 a.m., respectively. The walk will have a route of 4 km, starting after the race begins.
The first place in the race will receive a prize of R$ 4,500; the second, R$ 2,400; and the third, R$ 1,500. In the cycling tour, a raffle of R$ 1,000 will be held.
By encouraging the practice of physical exercises and care for health, the Government of Pará reinforces its commitment to the well-being of its servers.
