Operation 'Impulsus 2' in Marituba concludes with over 1,600 approaches in two days
Preventive and repressive actions ensure more safety for the municipality's population and highlight the government's commitment to social defense

With the aim of combating crime through preventive and repressive measures, ensuring greater tranquility for the population with enhanced security, the State Secretariat for Public Security and Social Defense (Segup), in conjunction with state and municipal security agencies, concluded this Sunday (21) the "Operation Impulsus 2" in Marituba. In two days of activities, agents conducted 1,679 approaches, made 12 arrests, and inspected 26 commercial establishments.
The State Secretary for Public Security and Social Defense, Ualame Machado, commented on the operation's productivity, which achieved its goal by providing greater police presence to deter crime.

“Operation Impulsus 2 demonstrated the commitment of the Government of Pará to the protection of the population. The 1,679 approaches conducted, the twelve arrests made, and the 26 establishments inspected reflect the hard work and dedication of our security forces in ensuring order and tranquility in Marituba,” he said.
He added: “these significant results are a clear indication that we are on the right track. I thank the efforts of everyone involved and reaffirm our commitment to continue investing in actions and strategies that promote the safety and well-being of the population of Pará,” he concluded.
Productivity – Initiated on Friday (19), the operation focused on the municipality of Marituba, primarily targeting the neighborhoods of Santa Clara and Santa Lúcia, Conjunto Albatroz, Canaã, Almir Gabriel, Novo Horizonte, Nova União, São Francisco, União, and Beija-Flor, as well as the area known as Invasão do Japonês.
In total, there were 1,679 approaches, including cars, motorcycles, bicycles, and individuals. The Military Police arrested 10 people, two of whom were for drug trafficking. They also seized 3 cell phones and recovered one vehicle.
In two days of operation, 26 establishments were inspected, with 8 identified as having regular activities and documentation in order, 7 were notified, 1 received guidance for noise pollution, 8 had their activities closed, and 2 were shut down by the Military Fire Department.

According to the Secretariat of Penitentiary Administration (Seap), the rates of violations in Marituba have practically dropped to zero. The Civil Police executed an arrest warrant for a person convicted of aggravated robbery. Another arrest occurred at a checkpoint for a motorcycle with altered identifying marks.
In traffic, teams from the Department of Traffic and the Secretariats of Public Security and Social Defense of Marituba and Traffic and Transport of Marituba, with the support of the Municipal Civil Guard of Marituba, made 67 citations, including 10 for licensing issues, 17 for driving without a National Driver's License (CNH), 16 for not wearing a helmet, 5 for non-compliant plates, 4 for altered lighting systems, 3 for poor maintenance, 5 for lack of corrective lenses, and 7 for children without retention devices. Two infractions for irregular exhausts were also issued, one arrest for intoxication, 7 vehicle seizures, and 7 motorcycle removals.
The operation involved the Civil, Military, and Scientific Police, the Military Fire Department, the State Traffic Department (Detran), the Public Security Air Group (Graesp), the State Secretariat of Penitentiary Administration (Seap), the Marituba Secretariat of Public Security and Social Defense, the Marituba Secretariat of Traffic and Transport, and the Municipal Civil Guard of Marituba, with the partnership of the Marituba Municipal Secretariat of the Environment and the Municipal Guardianship Council.
