The Capacita COP30 program begins, this Tuesday (23), the registrations for the 13th phase of free professional qualification courses. The initiative, coordinated by the State Secretariat of Science, Technology, Higher Education, Professional and Technological Education (Sectet), offers 455 spots in this phase, with classes scheduled to start on September 29, in the hubs of Belém, Salinópolis, and Santarém. Registrations must be made on the official program platform: www.capacitacop30.pa.gov.br.

According to the coordinator of Capacita COP30, Andrey Rabelo, the 13th phase marks a special moment. “We are reaching a symbolic stage of the program, which should be the last in-person offering. This further reinforces the value of this phase, as it marks the consolidation of a collective effort that started large and became a success story in Pará. We are concluding not only with impressive numbers but with real stories of transformation and new opportunities for the people of Pará,” he highlighted.

New offerings - In Belém, the courses will be distributed across four institutions. The State Technical School Dr. Celso Malcher will host classes for Advanced Spanish for Tourism Business and Advanced English for Tourism Business.

In the municipalities of Salinópolis and Santarém, courses will also be offered. In Salinópolis, Advanced English for Tourism Business and Event Organization will be available. In Santarém, there will be a class for Basic English for Tourism Business, expanding training opportunities in strategic regions for tourism in Pará.

The classes will have a workload of 40 hours and up to 35 students, with classes in the afternoon and evening, from Monday to Friday. “The Capacita COP30 is more than a qualification program; it is a public policy that leaves concrete marks on people's lives. This legacy will remain long after the event, opening doors for the population to have more job opportunities and income generation. It is an initiative that makes the State proud and shows the strength of education as a tool for social transformation,” emphasizes the head of Sectet, Victor Dias.

At the end of this phase, the program will surpass the mark of 30,000 certificates issued, consolidating itself as one of the largest professional qualification initiatives in the State. Since its inception, Capacita COP30 has involved more than 32 institutions, including course providers and demanders, including public agencies and private companies. This network of partners has allowed for the offering of in-person and distance courses, covering the Metropolitan Region of Belém and the interior of Pará.
