Pineapple Festival 2025 has the support of 460 security agents in Barcarena
Mobile Command and Control Center of Security, installed in front of Eco Parque Cafezal, ensures monitoring of the city's strategic roads
The Secretary of Public Security and Social Defense of Pará (Segup) is once again coordinating the security actions developed for the "43rd Pineapple Festival." About 464 security agents will be working to enhance safety during the 4 days of one of the most popular events in the city of Barcarena, in the metropolitan region of Belém.
The actions will ensure real-time monitoring of police teams from the Mobile Command and Control Center of security, the CICC Mobile, installed in front of Eco Parque Cafezal, where the event will take place. From the Integrated Mobile Center, agents will monitor the city's security cameras, as well as provide assistance and record occurrences.
The Pineapple Festival is one of the most traditional festivities held in Pará, especially in the city of Barcarena, which receives an average of 100,000 people over the 4 days of programming, which also includes performances by national artists. The festival's programming starts this Thursday, 25th, and runs until next Sunday, September 28th.
Programming - The programming opens with the presence of Aline Barros and Thalles. During the weekend, the festival will also feature Nattan, DJ Alok, Pedro Sampaio, Léo Santana, Gustavo Mioto, Belo, Mumuzinho, and Viviane Batidão.
“We will have our integrated agent teams gathered at the Mobile Integrated Command and Control Center, installed near the event location, from there, we will monitor all access areas to the festival. In addition, our agents will be conducting preventive patrols around the Festival so that everyone can enjoy the festivities peacefully, in what is one of the most traditional events that takes place in our state and requires a security strategy to ensure order and a calm enjoyment for those taking advantage of the attractions during the event days,” said the Secretary of Public Security and Social Defense, Ualame Machado.
The event mobilizes a reinforcement of more than 168 Military Police officers, in addition to agents from the Military Fire Department, Civil Police, State Scientific Police, and State Traffic Department, as well as the addition of 30 vehicles and 10 motorcycles that will operate in actions supported by the 14th Military Police Battalion serving the Barcarena region.
Activities - Preventive and ostensive actions will be developed, aiming to prevent crimes and criminal actions, with permanent patrols and monitoring of Segup cameras installed in the area where the festivities take place. The actions will be intensified in the vicinity of the event and adjacent areas, in addition to ensuring public order and maintaining social peace in the region.
Integration - The Pineapple Festival brings together, this year, the agencies that make up the State Public Security System, namely: the Civil and Military Police, Military Fire Department, State Traffic Department (Detran), State Scientific Police (PCE), State Penitentiary Administration Secretariat (Seap), and also the municipal agencies of Barcarena.
