The State Department of Public Health of Pará (Sespa), through the State Coordination of Policies for Autism (Cepa), will hold on October 15 the III Workshop Nortea Pará – 2nd Edition, aimed at people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), their families, professionals in the field, and public managers.

The event will be held in a hybrid format (in-person and online) with the theme: "Autism and inclusion in the world of work: preparation and rights in focus." Registrations are open until October 14, through this link.

The state coordinator of Policies for Autism, Neyelle Lacerda, emphasizes that this is the third and final edition of the workshop in 2025. According to her, the event is an opportunity to raise awareness about the inclusion of people with autism in the labor market.

"The Nortea project has been developed throughout the year and, in addition to training, promotes workshops aimed at mobilizing society to prepare to include young people and adults with ASD in the world of work. The difference of this edition is the hybrid format, allowing participation from people in other municipalities. All events have free certification and this one will have a workload of 4 hours," explains Neyelle.
