Codec meets Triglav company in a meeting about opportunities in Pará
The virtual meeting presented the profile of the MRO supplier and discussed potential investments in the Barcarena and Carajás hubs

On this Monday (29), the Economic Development Company of Pará (Codec) held an online meeting with representatives from Triglav, a supplier in the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) sector, which presented the profile and ambitions of the business regarding the State of Pará and, in particular, the Carajás region.
Triglav operates in the trade of machines, hand and electric tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), abrasives, inputs and welding machines, as well as steel cables, hoists, and pre-painted metal sheets. Although it is not an industry, the company directly meets the needs of the production chain, offering solutions for different segments.
The meeting was conducted by Codec's Director of Investment Attraction, Manoel Ibiapina, and the Investment Attraction Manager, Sabrina Sena, and also included the participation of advisor Evandro Diniz.
During the meeting, the Company reinforced its institutional mission. The Company is a mixed-economy society, whose largest shareholder is the state government, and aims to promote the economic development of Pará by attracting industries and support sectors to the production chain. The work aims to generate jobs and income, as well as stimulate enterprises that add value to local raw materials and strengthen industrialization.

According to Codec's Investment Attraction Manager, Sabrina Sena, "the approach to supplier companies is strategic because it expands the network of partners and strengthens the supply chain established in Pará. This movement allows new suppliers to learn about existing opportunities, assess their capacity to meet demand, and prepare for the growing demand in the region, especially in economically dynamic hubs like Carajás."
In the same vein, Director Manoel Ibiapina emphasized that "Codec has the role of opening paths, presenting the regions, the opportunities, and the existing infrastructure conditions in the State, offering a clearer overview for companies interested in investing in Pará."
The representative of Triglav, Anderson Gomes Souza, in turn, highlighted the willingness to understand the local market and structure a solid project: "Every small piece of information is essential for building a large project. Our intention is to gather data, understand the demands of the regional market, and arrive in the State with a well-structured proposal capable of meeting the needs of large enterprises and their local suppliers."
The meeting marked the first institutional contact between Codec and Triglav, which expressed interest in deepening the dialogue and evaluating future opportunities for action in Pará, especially in the Barcarena Industrial District and the Carajás economic axis.
