Sefa seizes 370 bottles of alcoholic beverages in Marabá
The seizure occurred at the fiscal post at km 9 of the Transamazon Highway and a Seizure and Deposit Term (TAD) was issued.

During an inspection carried out on the 6th by inspectors assigned to the Coordination of Goods in Transit Control of Carajás, from the State Department of Finance (Sefa), in the southeast of the State, 96 bottles of whiskey, 60 bottles of gin, 84 bottles of vodka, and 130 bottles of champagne were seized, coming from the State of São Paulo destined for Belém.
The seizure occurred at the fiscal post at km 9 of the Transamazon Highway, in Marabá. The goods were valued at R$ 217,615.24. “During the inspection, a light commercial vehicle was approached. Two invoices were presented indicating, as the nature of the operation, 'Shipment for Bonus', issued by a São Paulo company for a recipient located in Rio de Janeiro. However, according to a declaration found with the driver and other elements verified during the fiscal action, it was found that the real destination of the goods was the municipality of Belém. Given the discrepancy, the invoices were disregarded and a physical check of the cargo was carried out,” informed the coordinator, Cicinato Oliveira.
A Seizure and Deposit Term (TAD) was issued in the amount of R$ 158,911.50, charging the ICMS and fine.
