Hundreds of people filled the amphitheater at Estação das Docas on the first day of Círio na Estação 2025

On this Thursday, October 9, the São Pedro Nolasco amphitheater was filled with music, culture, and joy at the opening of the Círio na Estação 2025 Project, featuring performances by the Grupo Frutos do Pará, Boi Veludinho, and Markinho Duran. The event has become a tradition in the calendar of the capital of Pará. Until October 12, the public can enjoy various attractions for free.
And the program couldn't have started better: the audience danced and sang to Amazonian rhythms like carimbó, lundú, and marujada, alongside the Regional Group Frutos do Pará.

The joyful atmosphere continued with the procession of Boi Veludinho, which filled the waterfront and the warehouses of the Estação with colors, dances, and excitement, providing the audience with a warm and unique moment. Monalisa, 23, from Salvador, is visiting the capital of Pará for the first time.
“I think everything is really cool. The program is very cool because it is very interactive. We managed to go up on stage, dance. The people invited us to participate. And it is very special, very important that we experience the culture as well, in addition to enjoying it. There was the presentation of the Boi, with its story. This is very cool because for those who are from outside, in addition to watching and being enchanted, they can also understand how it originated, what it means,” she comments.

The night was capped off by the Pará singer and songwriter Markinhos Duran, who brought an exceptional repertoire with great hits, marking the first night of Círio da Estação 2025.
Márcia Melo is from Pará but has lived in São Paulo for over 30 years. “I hadn’t been to my city for a year and seven months. This time, I chose to return because I lost my youngest son to an incurable disease. I came to spend my 50th birthday with my mother during the Círio de Nazaré, and I loved the program. I don’t give it a 10; I give it a thousand. Since Monday, I’ve been coming every day, and today I was here with some friends. We heard the music and came, and I loved it,” she says, emotional.
The programming of the Círio na Estação 2025 Project continues over the weekend. On Friday, October 10, the Estação will host the Grupo Iaçá Luterana, the Banda Reggaetown, Boi Veludinho, and will close with the Banda Orlando Pereira.

On Saturday, October 11, at 9 AM, the Banda Sinfônica Vale Música will perform at the complex, entertaining the audience waiting for the Fluvial Romaria.
On Sunday of Círio, October 12, the performances will begin in the late afternoon with the Grupo Mururé. Next, Boi Veludinho will return with children's entertainment, in homage to Children's Day. The cultural program will conclude with the Banda Fruto Sensual and its Amazonian rhythms.

The public can still see the Official Rope of Círio 2025 up close, on display at Warehouse 1, until 3 PM on Saturday, October 11, the eve of the great procession.
