The Curro Velho Workshop Center, part of the Cultural Foundation of Pará (FCP), is accepting registrations until the 10th for a new cycle of workshops focused on art and sustainability. The activities will take place from October 14 to 25, and registrations can be made through the following links: Web Comics, Enchanted Cinema: The Amazonian Fauna as Cosmopolitics, and Percussion Workshop.

The program includes courses that directly engage with the theme of Amazonian fauna and sustainability. In the Photography and Audiovisual Laboratory, the course Enchanted Cinema: The Amazonian Fauna as Cosmopolitics is available, coordinated by Xan Marçall; and in the Animation and Digital Art Laboratory, the offered course is Web Comics (Mandy Modesto), requiring basic computer skills. The program expands to training in Scenic and Musical Language. In the music area, the offering is the percussion workshop (Maurício Baiano), with a workload of 20 hours and 15 spots available for participants over 12 years old. Classes are daily, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

The workshops are offered free of charge to students from public schools at the elementary and high school levels, as well as participants from Infocentro, upon presentation of proof of enrollment. The fee exemption also applies to children under 12 years old, People with Disabilities (PCDs), and seniors aged 60 and over. For university students, private school students, and other interested parties, a fee of R$20.00 is charged, to be paid in cash at the time of registration. It is noted that the registration fee is non-refundable. Students who achieve a minimum attendance rate of 80% in the course will receive a certificate of completion.

The training and cultural diffusion actions, such as the Curro Velho Workshops, reinforce the role of the Cultural Foundation of Pará (FCP) as the main state body responsible for implementing public cultural policies in the state of Pará. The program aims to encourage art engaged in environmental issues and promote ecological education creatively, strengthening the dialogue between culture and sustainability.
