Sefa seizes 17.65 m³ of wood at the port of Santarém
The cargo is valued at R$ 37,076.09 and was destined for a commercial exporting company in Belém

At the Coordination of Goods in Transit Control of Tapajós, from the State Department of Finance of Pará (Sefa), in Baixo Amazonas, state revenue inspectors seized, this Friday (10), in the municipality of Santarém, 17.65 m³ of wood of various species, destined for a commercial exporting company in Belém-PA. The cargo is valued at R$ 37,076.09.
“During an inspection carried out in conjunction with the State Military Police, 17.65 m³ of wood were found at a port. During the verification of the tax documentation, it was found that the recipient had their tax benefit regime revoked by the Department of Finance. Thus, they could not trade with the ICMS suspension of the operation,” said the coordinator of the tax unit, Roberto Mota.
Two Terms of Seizure and Deposit (TAD) were drawn up in the amount of R$ 9,801.93, in tax and fine.
