The government of Pará, through the Secretary of Public Security and Social Defense (Segup), in partnership with other agencies of the Public Security System (Sieds), has been developing actions for the "Operation Círio 2025" since the beginning of the week. This Friday (10), for the fourth consecutive year, the Integrated Mobile Command and Control Center (CICCM) was activated at Largo do Redondo, located on Avenida Nazaré, in Belém. The advanced post brings together security forces, contributing as a fixed support point to direct demands.

The CICCM is mainly used during the processions on Saturday (11) and the Grand Procession on Sunday (12), where integrated teams will monitor the movement of the pilgrims in real-time through surveillance cameras. According to the Secretary of Public Security, Ualame Machado, this tool is essential for the success of the security forces' work.

"At Largo do Redondo, our mobile CICC is installed, and here the main processions pass, the motorcycle pilgrimage, the trasladação, and the Círio de Nazaré. We are here in an integrated manner, acting. There are also our observation platforms, which are higher observation points to ensure the safety and surveillance of the streets. The population can always count on public security," he stated.

With the visualization of images from more than 60 cameras installed along the routes of the main processions, as well as others installed on public roads, the Mobile Center serves areas of operational interest. Additionally, the population can receive assistance with incident reports during the weekend when the main processions of the festival take place.

Occurrences - In addition to video monitoring and radio communication, the Mobile Center will offer assistance for incident reporting. A team from the Civil Police will be on hand to register Police Incident Reports (BOP), thus ensuring agility in procedures and prompt assistance for the population, as well as providing adequate support.
This year, in addition to providing public assistance and registering incidents, lost and misplaced items and documents can also be taken to the Mobile CICC to be forwarded to the Metropolitan Police Directorate, Block C, 2nd floor, located in the building of the General Civil Police Delegation, on Avenida Governador Magalhães Barata, from Monday to Friday, starting at 8 a.m.

Fixed security points
As in previous years, 20 observation points have also been installed along the routes of the main pilgrimages; along the avenues where the trasladação and Círio processions take place. At these points, agents from the Military Police and Military Fire Brigade will be observing the movement and responding to emergencies and incidents for the benefit of the population.

Integration
The operation will bring together agents from the Military, Civil, and Scientific Police, Military Fire Brigade, State Traffic Department (Detran), Secretary of Penitentiary Administration (Seap), Air and River Public Security Groups, State Health Secretary (Sesp), as well as partner agencies from municipal and federal spheres.
