Children's choir from the Casa da Criança Santa Inês School enchants the audience during the Trasladação
The group has existed for four years, composed of students from 1st to 5th grade of Elementary School and performs commemorative presentations for Círio and Christmas.

An evening of enchantment and emotion marked Saturday (11) during the Trasladação in Belém. Employees of the State Department of Education (Seduc), who accompanied the procession from the grandstand set up at the Center for Training and Basic Education Professionals of the State of Pará (Cefor), in the Campina neighborhood, were treated to a special performance by the choir of 25 children who, from the historic windows of the century-old Cefor building, better known as IEEP, sang in honor of Our Lady of Nazaré, the patroness of the people of Pará.
The head of Seduc, Ricardo Sefer, was present at the event and welcomed the employees in a warm space filled with love, faith, and excitement. “What an honor to be here today, at the Public Education Information Center of Pará, in the historic IEEP building, reopening this space to showcase the balconies of the Trasladação and Círio. Today we are here, more than 40,000 professionals from Public Education in Pará, over 500,000 students from our network, represented in the children's choir, with a band, a little bit of everything, even a live broadcast from Channel 7.2 of TV Educativa. Follow us there to see the broadcast through the eyes of public education in Pará,” emphasized Ricardo Sefer.

More than 200 employees and their families evaluated the initiative positively. This is the case of Mr. Jairo Duarte from the financial sector of Seduc, who brought his brother. “It was a wonderful idea from the management to provide this emotion for each employee to witness the Trasladação and see the image of the saint up close; for me, it is gratifying. I brought my brother who came from the countryside, and it is his first time at the Círio de Nazaré, and he will have a wonderful experience,” said Jairo.
Casa da Criança Santa Inês School Choir
With approximately 25 children, the group has existed for four years and is composed of students from 1st to 5th grade of Elementary School, performing commemorative presentations for Círio de Nazaré and Christmas.

This year, the group paid a special tribute to the Virgin of Nazaré, with the interpretation of four songs dedicated to the patroness of the people of Pará. For student Alice Silva, 10 years old, it is very rewarding to participate in the choir and sing at a special moment.
“I am very anxious, but I also think it is an honor to sing for Our Lady of Nazaré. It is a unique opportunity that we could not miss; I have always wanted to sing, I always thought I could sing one day, and here I am,” said Alice.

Also happy to participate in the choir for the first time is 4th-grade student Andressa Virgínia. “It’s cool to participate in the choir; it’s my first time. I get a little nervous, but it’s nice because I like to sing, and we don’t always have this opportunity,” commented student Andressa Virgínia.
Another group that also entertained the audience was the musical group formed by Seduc employees. The band “Vibe” ensured fun, tributes, and prayers during the passage of Our Lady.

TV Educativa - In a historic moment, students from the state public network conducted a live broadcast of the Círio de Nazaré through TV Educativa, on channel 7.2.
The initiative encourages children's protagonism through media education. With more than 30 professionals involved, including employees, teachers, and volunteers, about 14 students were involved in the project and participated from the planning of the script to the presentation.

For student Letícia Santiago, from the 3rd year of High School at the Ulysses Guimarães State School in Belém, the experience is unique. “It has been an incredible experience. I prepared for this moment,” she said.
“I did a field research where I was immersed in the Basilica of Nazaré. It was something very magical, the images, the stories, the videos that were shown, etc. And I think that Círio, besides being an expression of faith, is something of apparent culture. It is something that culture brings; it is history, it is our history being shown to the world because it is one of the largest cultural festivities in Brazil and widely recognized worldwide, which is now being told by a group of students from state schools,” Letícia shared, excited about the experience lived.
