On the eve of the application of the tests of the Basic Education Assessment System (Saeb), which takes place between October 20 and 31, the Regional Education Board of Bragança (DRE Bragança), linked to the State Department of Education (Seduc), celebrates an intense period of work and preparation.

Aligned with the guidelines of Seduc, the regional board promoted a broad mobilization aimed at strengthening learning and engaging schools, students, and families.

Throughout the school year, each manager, staff member, student, and family played an essential role in a journey marked by dedication, commitment, and love for public education. The result is a strengthened, united, and confident network in building quality education for all. "This is a joint dedication to achieve a stronger and higher quality education. More than a test, Saeb is a celebration of our commitment to education," emphasized the director Thayse Alvão.

Among the main strategies adopted by DRE Bragança are the training of managers and teachers, continuous pedagogical support provided by the Pedagogical Support Technicians (TAPs), monitoring of learning, and the application of simulations focused on the skills assessed in Portuguese Language and Mathematics. Schools also worked with unified content and the use of Prepara, Prepara Mais, and learning recovery materials, consolidating the mastery of essential competencies.

In addition to these actions, the Student Reporter Project encourages student protagonism and the pedagogical use of Chromebooks, with access to the Plural and CAEd platforms, expanding study possibilities and monitoring student performance. The integrated work of reinforcement teachers, interns, and school psychologists has also been fundamental for strengthening learning and ensuring student well-being.

Saeb Expedition

Among the most notable actions is the Saeb Expedition Project, a large educational mobilization that visited schools in the region, uniting teachers, managers, and municipal secretariats in a movement to value teaching and reaffirm the commitment to public education. The initiative symbolizes the collective effort of the entire regional board to prepare students for the assessment and strengthen the sense of belonging to the network.

Held between September 29 and October 17, the "Saeb Expedition" visited 19 state schools of DRE Bragança and 12 schools from municipal education networks, totaling 1,763 students served in 19 days of intense mobilization.

Coordinated by the Training Center of DRE Bragança, the action promoted messages of encouragement, pedagogical dynamics, and moments of listening and integration, involving managers, teachers, and students in this final stretch of preparation for Saeb 2025.

With the strength and diversity of the Amazonian communities, each stop of the Saeb Expedition reaffirmed the value of learning from the territory, from the people, and from the challenges of the school, strengthening the greater purpose of ensuring quality, inclusive, and transformative public education.
