Producers from Pará will have access to the registration and monitoring platform of the ABC+ Pará Plan
The Land Registration and Regularization System, an initiative of Sedap with support from the IDB, will have a portal and application for producers. The official launch is scheduled for COP30.
The State Secretariat for Agricultural Development and Fisheries (Sedap) held a training session on Wednesday (22) with representatives from state agencies about the Land Registration and Regularization System (Sicarf). Developed by the Land Institute of Pará (Iterpa), the system will soon be available in portal and application format for monitoring the goals of the State Low Carbon Agriculture Plan (ABC+ Pará).

The Sicarf - ABC+ PA Plan is an initiative of Sedap, with support from Iterpa and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). The training was conducted by the requirements analyst at YOUX, the company responsible for developing the System, Renan Ribeiro. According to him, through Sicarf, producers can access information about the ABC+ Pará Plan and register their production system, providing data about the owner, property, soil, and other information.
“We created this platform so that the State could register producers with sustainable production systems (SPSs) and monitor the goals of the State ABC+ Plan. The ultimate goal is to certify producers so that, in the future, this certification can serve as a mechanism for access to public policies,” said Renan Ribeiro.

Application - In addition to the Portal, users will have access to the Sicarf ABC+ application, which will be available for Android. “The application and the web system are fully integrated. The producer can enter production data even without being logged into the internet,” assured the analyst.
For the coordinator of the ABC+ Pará Plan, Tiago Catuxo, the platform will be essential as it contributes to government actions aimed at climate change policy. "The goal is to create a traceability mechanism for sustainable production systems while certifying farmers who adopt practices that result in lower carbon emissions into the atmosphere," he explained.
During the training, the staff were able to see in practice how the system works and suggest improvements to the platform. The forecast is that the Sicarf - ABC+ PA will be officially launched at COP30 (world conference on climate change) in Belém.
