Seduc and TCM reaffirm commitment to strengthening education in Pará
The meeting reaffirmed the partnership between the institutions and highlighted the mutual commitment to improving educational indicators in the State
On this Wednesday (22), the State Department of Education (Seduc) and the Court of Accounts of Municipalities (TCM) held a strategic alignment meeting to enhance joint actions aimed at strengthening public education in the municipalities of Pará. The meeting reaffirmed the partnership between the institutions and highlighted the mutual commitment to improving educational indicators in the State.
"It was an honor to participate in this meeting with the Court, so that we can strengthen the relationship of public education in Pará with the role of TCM alongside the municipalities. We have several points of synergy and combined efforts, such as the Literacy program, the process of municipalizing Elementary Education, especially from 1st to 5th grade, and the inspections of transportation and school feeding programs transferred to the municipalities. The union between the institutions is the great secret to continue advancing in public education in Pará. I thank the Court's counselors for prioritizing education as one of their areas of action," highlighted the State Secretary of Education, Ricardo Sefer.
The joint work aims to strengthen educational policies, ensuring higher quality of teaching and efficiency in the educational management of the municipalities.
"The integration between the institutions is fundamental. TCM is a great partner of Seduc. Beyond its control functions, the Court has shown a strong performance in the education agenda. This meeting marks a new moment of alignment, with a special focus on early childhood, literacy, and all stages of education. It is a strategic partnership for the advancement of education in Pará," emphasized the Deputy Secretary of Seduc, Diego Maia.
Attending the meeting were the president of TCM, Lúcio Vale; the Deputy Secretary of Network Management and Collaboration Regime (Sarc) of Seduc, Diego Maia; the coordinator of the Alfabetiza Pará program, Carla Reis; as well as counselors and technicians from the Court.
